Yep, you read that rightI don’t and I don’t want to try to pretend to either. With my ever expanding client base, that I feel so lucky to have, I want to write this for those of you who are new here. Clients near and far! With clients residing in 3 countries and spread all across the states its safe to say I don’t always get to show you a clear picture- so here it is- My “typical” workout schedule when I’m trying to lose weight:Monday- am 20-30 min jog/run and pm Virtual Workout Tuesday- Virtual Workout and optional family run/walk Wednesday- Virtual Arm workout optional run/walk Thursday-am 45-60 min jog/run and PM Virtual Workout Friday- am 20-30 min Jog and Pm Virtual Stretching Saturday- Active recovery (playing outside) Sunday- Rest Translation:I have 2 days of hard work, 3 days of moderate activity, and to rest/recovery days Why it works:Often people jump into weight loss with the all or nothing mentality. But really your body needs to adapt, grow, and change! Without proper rest and recovery all that work will just wear you down. Other key components: I also only drink alcohol once maybe twice a week when I’m trying to loose weight. I’m more mindful a of what I eat. And I think the most important is.... I get at least 7 hours of sleep. (10-6) Conclusion:I hope that this information helps others see it’s not all or nothing, or that I am over here eating perfect, cutting anything out, or working out all day everyday.
