So normally I try to stay mostly positive about training but sometimes you just have to HONEST.
THIS IS TOUGH!.... not to say I don't love it! I really do! but training is tiering no matter what level of athlete or event you are doing. When we put our bodies under stress and caloric deficit things get a little bit harder. I am no different then anyone else. Lately I have been calling it marathon mush brain.... not to mention my crankiness Luckily I am surrounded by the most supportive group of people... and I have to do a shout out to Kyle here because if it wasn't for him some of these long runs....well lets just say they may not have been so long... he has basically been training for a bike marathon! I am one lucky girl! Along with the support of Inside Track and its club members! Anyway, I am always curious what kind of effect different training has on my body and why. So all this training and craziness has lead me to do some info searching! For instance, lately because I feel a little hormonally off kilter, as well as hungry all the time.... I decided to do some research on those subjects, and what do you know, I found some interesting stuff! in short I found out: I need to be careful of over training eat balanced sleep well and yea, I am gunna be a little moody! this first one is on the hormone cortisol and running http://running.competitor.com/2014/07/training/what-is-cortisol-and-should-you-be-worried-about-it_39176 this second one is one hormones and over training http://running.competitor.com/2014/05/training/the-role-of-hormones-in-running_57112 HAVE FUN! TRAIN SMART!
