To live, will be an awfully big adventure!

Most of the time I try not to write just about myself but this one is mostly gunna be about me:

and a little about stress, planning, and happiness

to start I shared the video above because I believe not only does that movie mean so much to me and embraces the ideas and values I try to live by and will talk briefly about in this blog. But also, I feel Robin Williams was a catalyst in many of our lives to follow our dreams by his endless number of performances that emphasize the key to life is happiness, love, and sharing with others.

I am a true believer in the idea that we should fallow our dreams and our hearts. I mostly attribute this trait to my wonderful parents who let me believe that, just like Peter Pan say's, "To live will be an awfully big adventure". My parents also always allowed not only us but themselves as well to be kids, be imaginative, and enjoy life to the fullest. For those thing I am very lucky and very grateful.

With that being said I would like to share with you some news of my next exciting adventure: As most of you know in recent month I have been on many adventures and done many exciting, healthy, happy things: from running half-marathons, to hiking trips, music festivals from the great lakes, to the mountains, and deserts, and oceans on both coasts. During this time I have been lucky enough to find an adventure partner who shares the same enthusiasm for life as I do. So this fall we will be taking our adventuring to the East Coast! Maryland, to be exact.

Our first step in the adventure will be to drive across the USA seeing friends and family
Then we will be working out of Southern Maryland
and where life takes us after that.... who knows!

what! crazy, I know! exciting, right!

Sooooo lets talk about this in terms of health and fitness!

I am so excited! but I am also training for a Marathon! wow two of the hardest M words out there! MOVING AND MARATHONS in the same month! Crazy right!? well I feel it a little anyways.  As I have mentioned before training is already very mentally fatiguing and I would recommend anyone who is planning on training for a marathon consider this as well as consider the people who will be around them during training. Just like anything we go through in life happy, sad, hard, easy, exciting, you name it , it does affect us. That is why durning this time or anytime anyone is doing "stressful" stuff it is important to remember to eat, sleep, and drink lots of water. Believe it or not one of the best thing to help prevent fatigue and stress is staying hydrated! Make time to drink water, relax and regain focus.

Also when stressed it is important to recognize that "hey I am stressed right now" and you know what "it is okay to be stressed". Be it a marathon, a new fitness goal, an at home issue, we must recognize our brains are part of our body and they need rest too.  Often if you try to fight stress too much and hold back the fact that you are stressed it will all build up and explode all at once. And that is no fun! just ask my mom she is the one who gets my calls when I am like AHHHH IM CRAZY.... she says, "No you're just stressed." Recognize that sometimes acknowledging it helps, other times you just got to ride out those emotions.

Luckily I have not felt too horribly stressed yet about either of my big Ms but I am sure it will happen, and all I can do now is prepare myself as best I can.

Sleep, Eat, Hydrate, and GIVE YOURSELF A BREAK IF YOU NEED ONE

Now in terms of my moving and True You Fitness!

as of right now we are thinking of ways to keep in contact with my clients on the west coast. If you are interested in finding out how let me know! but for now things are still in the building phases.

My dreams continue to grow and I feel as though I am progressing towards my ultimate goal of being able to provide a full mind and body balance plan for my clients and customers.

In other words this is just another step in my big adventure, to live.
